Qui palam aliquando arrepti sunt, non solum non assumendi ad ullum ordinem clericatus, sed etsi iam aliqui ordinati sunt, ab imposito officio repellendi.

Not only should those who were at any time visibly possessed, not assume any clerical position, but so also should those [demoniacs] who are already ordained should be compelled to leave their office.

Discussion:

This canon is repeated in the so-called Second Council of Arles as canon 41 (40) (see Munier 1963: 122; e.g. [549]).
