Canon 88

A presbyter should not be present at the banquet at the occasion of a second marriage.
Council of Neocaesarea, title 7.

(trans. S. Adamiak)

Discussion:

The canon repeats the norm of Canon 7 of the Council of Neocaesarea (AD 314/319). It is unclear whether the term "twice married" ("digamoi") refers to those who re-married after the death of their spouses, or after the divorce.
