According to Canon 72 of the Breviary of Ferrandus of Carthage (North Africa, AD 523/546, repeating earlier norms) the bishops and presbyters should not celebrate the Eucharist in their own houses.
Canon 72

Vt episcopi et presbyteri in domo sua oblationes non faciant.
Concilio Laodicensi, tit. 56.

(ed. Munier 1974: 293)
Canon 72

The bishops and presbyters should not make offerings in their houses.
Council of Laodicea, title 56.

(trans. S. Adamiak)

Discussion:

The canon repeats the norm of the Council of Laodicea (2nd half of the 4th c.). The ''offerings'' refer to the masses celebrated in private houses, even if they belong to clerics.
