CILAnd III.1 no. 213
In the name of the Lord, Locuber made this [inscription], though he is an unworthy abba. He built two choirs and the churches of the saints of God were consecrated on the day before the Ides of May in the year 729 of the era in the fourth year of the reign of our lord Egica.

Discussion:

Usually, the title "abba" of Locuber is interpreted as a monastic title, and therefore, it is assumed that he founded a monastic establishment in Baecula. The inscription itself, however, mentions only the foundation of the churches in honour of saints and it is possible that Locuber was an abba of basilica(s). On non-monastic abbates see discussion in [810].

About the source:

Origin: Baecula (Iberian Peninsula)
Denomination: Catholic/Nicene/Chalcedonian
The inscription itself has been lost and is known only from drawings made in the 18th and and an estampage made in the 19th century (for the images see Corchado y Soriano 1988). According to the 18th-century scholars, the inscription was originally located near the principal entry gate to the Castillo de Bailen (the fortress in Baecula). This gate was identified with the entry leading to the medieval church of saint Gertrud (not extant today).
