Attalus, presbyter probably from Danubian provinces, present at the council of Aquileia in 381 AD

Reference to prosopography: PCBE, Italie, vol. 1 Adtalus

Discussion:

We do not know exactly where Attalus held his office. From the acts of the council of Aquileia we only know that his bishop name was Agrippinus. At the council of Aquileia in 381 AD he is on the side of the Homoian bishops, Palladius of Ratiaria (Dacia) and Secundianus of Singidunum (Moesia), therefore he was also probably from one of the Danubian provinces.
