Honoratus, presbyter in North Africa, 5th/6th c.

Reference to prosopography: PCBE Afrique: Honoratus 9

Chronological and
geographical framework:

Attested presbyterial activity: 401 - 402 in Thiave (Latin North Africa),

Discussion:

The identification of the presbyter Venantius present at the councils of 499 and 502 AD with the presbyter Venantius sent in the embassy to Constantinople, although very probable (he was the youngest but oneof the presbyters on the list of 499 AD), is hypothetical.
