Marcellinus of course does not represent on the 8th council of Toledo the archbishop of Toledo as Eugenius II was the host of the event. He is mentioned on the list together with abbots (Fugitivus, Anatolius, Eusicius, Ildefons, Simpronius, Eumerius, Quiriacus, Morarius, John, Secundinus) and one primicerius Siliculus.
