Since Leontius is mentioned in the letter of Consentius (from the Balearic Isles) to Augustine, and Consentius talks about his argument with him, Leontius might have been active in the Balearic Isles. However, the exchange might have been purely epistolary. In the year 420 Consentius writes about him as already dead ('sanctae memoriae').
